Certain newer iPhones have LiDAR capability. I have one in my office, though I'm not really using it. There are even open source applications for doing LiDAR and RGB-D streaming.

The goal of this task is for you to get an app on the iPhone and scan the backyard swimming pool and determine how accurate the scanning is. We're trying to figure out if this is a feature that we could reasonably use in Nidus to help technicians to properly measure pools. The first thing is just getting a competent app working to see if it's even accurate enough to use.
